Our path includes both times of "No" and times of "Yes," both our unwillingness and our willingness are equally held within the Love embracing all in nonjudgmental grace.

This being a third day following a move from the Southeast United States, Florida, to the Northeast region, Maine, reflections arise on the over 1300 mile drive here and coming here not knowing why, not feeling any need to know why. "Why" arises more like a playful inqisitiveness than a serious question. Succinctly, I simply came. Yet, for many weeks prior a felt-rightness, attested to by a subtle, quietful enthusiasm, confirmed this relocation was meant to be.
This recalls Scripture from my earlier years, when I was challenged by and inspired by how Jesus approached some of his followers. An example is in the Christian Bible, Gospel of Matthew 4.18-22 (CEV).
18 While Jesus was walking along the shore of Lake Galilee, he saw two brothers. One was Simon, also known as Peter, and the other was Andrew. They were fishermen, and they were casting their net into the lake. 19 Jesus said to them, “Come with me! I will teach you how to bring in people instead of fish.” 20 Right then the two brothers dropped their nets and went with him.
21 Jesus walked on until he saw James and John, the sons of Zebedee. They were in a boat with their father, mending their nets. Jesus asked them to come with him too. 22 Right away they left the boat and their father and went with Jesus.

So, while in Oneness, from Presence, spontaneous action occurs, such as a major change in life without a known why, and this does not negate that reason will arise, confirming the transition. This means in Grace, while a change may arise as needed, even without knowing a why, a why, possibly many whys, are already present. The rightness, though felt possibly prior, is known by mind in reason later. Feelings, persons, events afterward can confirm the reasonableness of a way taken. Moving into the place one sensed having been sent to allows arising of the logic of the transition. As well, not transitioning, when where we are is where we are inwardly summoned to remain, can be confirmed in like manner.

This morning, during readings, one such confirmation arose. This, as often happens, shows how words can provide a frame to understand a why. The late Jeane Kline, in The Ease of Being, is asked by a group participant regarding Kline having gone to India to seek Truth. The participant inquires, "So you were not especially looking for a teacher?"
No, I was not looking for anything specific but, arriving in India, in a new completely new environment, I was left with no reference to anything in my previous experience. In this suspension of evaluation I was catapulted into an openness, a receptivity to everything. And I was astonished to meet so soon the man who later became my teacher.
This is the way of the oft mysterious leading of Grace, and I recognized in this testimony a likeness in this move now from my natural habitat to a place and people unknown. Often, where we are, which we have become acclimated well to, is, likewise, where we cannot remain and follow our path. The place has become too familiar and that comfort and acclimation blocks the openness for inward energies to reorganize. This meaning, the energy, the consciousness, needing released and reorganized has become identified with and comforted by the surroundings. So, relocating in physical environment may be the change needed for spiritual relocation inwardly.
This does not mean an outer shift in locale is always what is needed. Other adjustments may be all one needs, right where one is. Yet, to continue transformation as a deepening process, times of shifting will be entered again and again. One, still, might choose to test his or her resolve to this spiritual transformation by a simple question, asking for full honesty, "Would I leave where I live and those I live among, if the inner summons to do so arose?" If one is not certain on this, that is not to be seen as some moral failure, only as a beginning point toward a "Yes." Rarely do we become willing for a major life change without much preparation, either over time or through a crisis.

I encourage this consideration, that your maturation spiritually, living more deeply in the Truth, is more important than whom you live among, where you live, and where you procure an income. And, recall, the Wholeness to which you belong knows more about what you need than you yourself do. Life knows why long before we do, and, sometimes, we may walk and never know the why for the direction in which we were led by the Presence unseen, but known.
That we walk with Presence is more important than where we walk to, or even how we walk. And, thankfully, even in our times of resistance to say "Yes," we are loved and led even there and then. Our path includes both times of "No" and times of "Yes," both our unwillingness and our willingness are equally included in the Love embracing all in nonjudmental grace.
